Hey everyone. It’s Simon from Body Development Centre, here to give you a quick tip on health and fitness goals.

Essentially goals fall into two categories, outcome and process.

So what are they? Well, outcome goals are where you want to to be. For instance “I will be 12 stone by the wedding” or “I want to run a 5k in under 30 mins”.

Process goals, on the other hand, are how you will get there, for example, “I’ll do Simon’s online fitness class

Coming soon!

“every day, Monday to Friday”.

Both types of goal are important, as outcome goals give you the passion to achieve change, whereas process goals define the how.

Yet the vast majority of the time, when it comes to weight loss especially, individuals are very clear on their outcome goals, but their process goals are less defined.

So your takeaway? Consider your goals? Are you clear on where you want to be, and do you focus on that to give yourself passion? And if you do, have you got the process goals in place to clearly outline how you’re going to get there?

Of course, if you have any questions on how to create such goals, then please do feel free to drop them in the comments!

And for anyone looking to get onto a weight loss and fitness regime during the lockdown, I am available for one on one online coaching, which you can find the details for in the description. I am also going to be starting up online fitness classes within the next week or two, so if that sounds interesting to you, give the page a follow to get the info!

Until next time though, have a great day, and take care!
